General Information

The number of copies each report recipient receives is determined according to the following algorithm:

• The copy count defined for the user report in the Active or Permanent User Report List file.
• If not specified in the Active or Permanent User Report List file, the copies defined in the ON statement describing the report.
• If not specified in the ON statement, this parameter (the general job default copy count) is used. The parameter defaults to 01 if not specified.

Parameter JOB DEFAULTS COPIES cannot be greater than parameter JOB DEFAULTS MAX COPIES (whose default is 10).

Parameter JOB DEFAULTS COPIES can be overridden by parameter ON Statement DEFAULTS MAX COPIES.
