This parameter provides a common descriptive name for a group of decollating missions.
Parameter GROUP makes handling report decollating missions more convenient. It enables retrieval of information about report decollating missions of a specific group, usually via the Online facility or the Reporting facility.
The group name appears in all important messages relating to the group’s report decollating missions.
The group name can also be used to apply special features for the decollation process, with the following options:
GROUP=CHKCODE assigns line numbers inside a page using print control characters. Examples of printing control characters include: '+' and '-' (ASA Control-D characters), and x'19' (machine control characters).
GROUP=COLUMN is used to produce a columnized (text) report from the PDF/XEROX/AFP report in the first stage of the decollation mission definition with transformation (ON TRNCLASS/ON TRNDSN).
GROUP=SKIPBLANK, optionally with WD1643 APPLY=YES, is used to process 'WHEN', 'DO USER', and 'DO NAME', considering the first nonblank line as line 1. This method is useful for Missions built by CA-DISPATCH to CONTROL-D conversion routines.
GROUP=WDN130=xxx is used to define the WDN130 optional wish for this specific mission to control an empty value in EXWTR, DEST, or FORM for ON CLASS/TRNCLASS decollation.
GROUP=group and WD1548 APPLY=YES,DATAC=group are used to process 'WHEN', 'DO USER', and 'DO NAME', considering the first AFP data line as line 1.
GROUP=NOEXIT16 is used to avoid a CTDX016 call during Recipient Tree process, to reduce CPU.
GROUP=ACCER is used to force EOF after an I/O error during reading of SYSOUT.
