Working Date

Many sites do not use midnight as the formal time for changing to a new date. A site, for example, may decide that transactions between 13:00 and 24:00 belong to the next day’s transactions. In this case, the working date changes at 13:00 and not at midnight.

The working date (that is, the time at which a date changes at the site) is defined in the Control-D installation parameters. New Day processing generally begins at the start of the new working date.
