Index Paths

Control-V enables users to retrieve parts of reports based on any predefined index path. Separate index paths should be defined for each meaningful way to retrieve a report page or section. For example, an accounts receivable report may have the following paths:

• 1_acct_number, 1_acct_name, 1_acct_executive, 1_balance_due, 1_past_due_amount
• 2_sales_region, 2_acct_executive, 2_acct_num, 2_balance_due, 2_past_due_amount
• 3_sales_region, 3_past_due_amount, 3_acct_num, 3_acct_name, 3_acct_executive
