These parameters are defined using the Online facility. Formatted screens guide the user through the definition process. For details about how to define these parameters online, see Migration, Printing, Backup, Restore Mission Definition Facility.
The parameters are stored in libraries (partitioned datasets). For each mission, one member is kept containing one or more categories of the mission.
Any number of libraries can be defined. Usually, only one library is used for each type of mission because these missions are usually managed by one unit within the organization.
Although the missions are defined once, they can be updated by authorized users at any time.
