Local variables may be accessed through:

• Direct reference in a Control-M/Analyzer expression.

• Reference using the %% operator.

Local variables are created during rule execution at the first reference to the variable name. DO SET and DO EXTRACT statements are used to give values to Local variables. For more information on DO SET and DO EXTRACT statements, see Rule Definition.
