Methods of invoking the Runtime environment are depicted as the ON/OFF switch to the data input conveyer belt. The Runtime environment can be invoked by application programs directly, or by adding a Control-M/Analyzer step to a job, or by a call from another INCONTROL product.
When Control-M/Analyzer is invoked by a job step, after all balancing tasks have terminated, a value can be returned to the job, indicating whether the data source is valid, and whether the job should continue processing.
Scheduling criteria and balancing instructions are specified in the step that invokes Control-M/Analyzer.
