Table 47 Fields in the Window for Copying Jobs to Another Table

Field

Description

Library

Library containing the table into which the jobs must be copied. Must be an existing library. Default is the current library.

Table

Name of the table into which the job must be copied.

Notes: A job can only be copied to another table. It cannot be copied to its own table (even if the job is renamed).

If the specified table does not exist, the table is created when the request is performed.

Job

Name of the job to be copied. If multiple jobs are selected, the window initially display with the first selected job. As each request is performed or canceled, the next requested job name is displayed.

To perform a request, press Enter.

To cancel a request, press END (PF03/PF15) or RESET (PF04/PF16).

SMART Table Entities cannot be copied. If a job in a SMART Table is copied to a table that handles jobs individually, it is copied as a regular job; rule-based calendars are dropped from the job scheduling definition. If a job in a SMART Table is copied to a nonexisting table, the table that is created will handle jobs individually.

Note: When a job from a table that handles jobs individually is copied to a SMART Table, the job retains its basic scheduling criteria and an empty SCHEDULE RBC field is inserted in the job scheduling definition. When a job from a SMART Table is copied to a SMART Table, the job retains its original rule-based calendar.
