When the IOALOGI utility updates an old IOA LOG Index file, the DD statement DAFRM specifies the name of the IOA library containing the IOA Access Method file definition statements member. This member is used to format the IOA LOG Index file. The formatting is executed when the old IOA LOG Index file is not valid and updating the old IOA Log Index file is not possible. After the formatting, the utility rebuilds the IOA LOG Index file.
