The Renaming tool processes the internal ICE data of the specified IOA environment. The IOA environment is specified with the ENVID parameter. In addition, the tool requires the following inputs:
the basepref.RNM sequential file with the renaming definitions - The user can copy the content of the IOACDRNM member produced by the Data Set Listing tool (see IOACCDSL – Data Set Listing tool) to basepref.RNM and rename the prefixes and parameters appropriately. For a list of the prefixes, see Table 23. For a list of the parameters, see Table 22. When entering the parameters in the basepref.RNM member, the dash, "-", must be in column 71.
the IOACDDSL member with the list of the data sets in the cloned IOA environment - Running the Data Sets Listing tool generates IOACDDSL. If the Renaming tool is invoked in the standalone mode (without running Data Sets Listing tool), the user can create the IOACDDSL member.
