Using this method, Control‑M/Analyzer does not read sysouts defined using the expression HOLD=TSO. It can read sysouts defined using the expression HOLD=EXWTR.

The disadvantage of this method is that neither the TSO OUTPUT command nor option 3.8 under ISPF is able to view sysouts defined to JES3 using the expression HOLD=EXWTR. Therefore, this method can only be used by users of products that are capable of reading the output from spool using a different technique than TSO OUTPUT or ISPF 3.8.
