If the Control‑M/Tape Dynamic Stacking Facility is not used at your site, skip this step and proceed to Step 9.5 – Resume tape activity.

This step converts the previous version of the stacking database (STK) to a STK database that supports the current version of Control-M/Tape.

1. Select this step, and press Enter. The CXXXS610 job in the IOA INSTWORK library is now displayed.
2. Edit the job, as follows. In the line marked by the comment
   <=== CHANGE (OLD STKD), replace the data set name with the name of the old STK data component.
3. Submit the JCL to run the program. All steps should end with a return code of 0.
