This job creates and initializes the Control‑M/Tape Media Database. Verify that you specified the required space allocation values for the Media Database in Step 5.1 – Media database space calculation.

The default Media Database space allocation provided in this job is based on the calculations made in Step 5.1 – Media database space calculation. For a description of space calculations and requirements for the Media Database, see Media database calculations.

Note: Do not move any Media Database, Trace Database, or Stacking Database files while Control‑M/Tape is active.

Submit the job. All steps must end with a condition code of 0.
