Stacking database calculations

The calculation of the Stacking Database data and index components is performed automatically, using ICE, and is described in Step 5.2 – Stacking database. The following explanations are for information only.

If at a later stage you wish to change the space allocations calculated automatically during the installation process, you can use the Customize procedure provide in the IOA Installation – Main Menu.

1. Open IOA Installation – Main Menu.
2. Type CTT in the Product ID field.
3. Type 6 in the OPTION field, to select option 6, Customize.
   The Major Steps Selection screen is displayed.
4. Select option 2, Customize Control-M/Tape Datasets, and press Enter.
   The Minor Steps Selection screen is displayed.
5. Select option 2, Stacking Database Space Calculation, and press Enter.
   The CTT Stacking Database Space Calculation screen is displayed.
