BMC recommends that you create a backup of the Control‑V libraries.

When backing up the installed environment, verify that the Base libraries, Installation libraries, Operations libraries and SMP‑related data sets are backed up. This backup allows the users to restore the original IOA environment when required, so that Control‑V can be reinstalled if a significant number of changes are made to the parameters or if an unrecoverable failure occurs during installation.
