For cataloged archiving, edit the BKPFCAT member in the Control‑D SKL library. The first step is an example of a backup step using FDR.
The backup step must contain two DD statements for each disk on which Control‑D compressed sysout data sets can reside.
One DD statement describes the disk; the second describes the tape data set. Note that each TAPEx DD statement is referred to in the previous one by the expression VOL=REF=*.TAPEx. Also note that the last TAPEx DD statement must be defined as DISP=(,PASS).
The second step of the job (the ANALYZE step) must contain a backward reference to the last TAPEx DD statement of the first step.
