For uncataloged archiving, edit the BKPFDR member in the Control‑D SKL library. The first step is an example of a backup step using FDR.
The backup step must contain two DD statements for each disk on which Control‑D CDAM sysout data sets can reside:
One DD statement describes the disk; the second DD statement describes the tape data set. Each TAPEx DD statement is referred to in the previous one by the expression VOL=REF=*.TAPEx. The last TAPEx DD statement must be defined as DISP=(,PASS).
The second step of the job (the ANALYZE step) must contain a backward reference to the last TAPEx DD statement of the first step.
