For each application server you want to add, insert values for the parameters shown in the following table and press Enter.
Note: A multiple number of application server definitions can be created in one ECAPARM member. Each ECAPARM APSERVER statement generated by the Add function defines one Application Server address space. The maximum number of application server address spaces per channel is 8.
If the Control‑M Application Server (CTMAS) or the Control-M Configuration Manager Application Server (CTMCAS) are to be used, Control‑M/Enterprise Manager 6.3.xx must already be installed and running on either the UNIX or the Windows side of the connection. For more information, see Step 21 – Install Control-M Application Server.
The Control‑D/Page On Demand (D) application supports multiple Application Server address spaces for the same application.
For a large number of concurrent connections (100 or more), it is recommended that at least 4 application servers be defined.
