Naming convention of alternative index components

The naming convention for alternative index components is similar to regular indexes, but uses letters other than I. The naming convention for alternative index components is:

Alt_dbname = data_dbname+alt_letter

where alt_letter is the letter used for alternative index identification.

Examples:

• ACTJ – J is the alternative index component of Active User file
• ACTY – Y is the alternative index component of Active User file
• MIGJ – J is the alternative index component of Migrated User file
• MG1Y – Y is the alternative index component of Migrated User partition 1
