Control‑V communicates with the FileTek Storage machine through an application interface.
The Resources (devices) defined in IOASPRM for media type FTK are logical devices. A logical device task is activated whenever a request is made to access a dataset that is not already being handled by another logical device. Each device task handles only one dataset at a time.
