The procedure to track a report that does not reach its final destination is shown below:
Check the status of the report in screen U of Control-D for z/OS.
If the status is PRINTED, the report has been transferred successfully to DS, and you should proceed to the instruction in paragraph 2.
If the status is NOT PRINTED, check the IOALOG, fix the problem and reprint the report. For example, if the Session Manager is inactive, it should be started on the Distribution computer.
Check whether the report files are in the tmp directory of the Distribution Server installation.
If they are, the Automation Server is probably not active or is incorrectly configured.
If files are not in the tmp directory, check the failed directory.
If the files are located in the failed directory, the REPMGR utility failed. Check the error.log file and find the error messages related to the REPMGR utility.
If the .cfg file is in the done directory (not in the failed directory), the report is queued for distribution and should appear in the Distribution Monitor in the Control-D/Desktop.
Check the report status there. If the status is Failed, check the error.log for "distribute" error messages.
