Tracking report distribution process

The procedure to track a report that does not reach its final destination is shown below:

  1. Check the status of the report in screen U of Control-D for z/OS.
  2. Check whether the report files are in the tmp directory of the Distribution Server installation.
  3. If the files are located in the failed directory, the REPMGR utility failed. Check the error.log file and find the error messages related to the REPMGR utility.
  4. If the .cfg file is in the done directory (not in the failed directory), the report is queued for distribution and should appear in the Distribution Monitor in the Control-D/Desktop.
  5. Check the report status there. If the status is Failed, check the error.log for "distribute" error messages.
