The CND contains information on the status and availability of conditions system-wide. IOA conditions and resources can be viewed using option 4 in the IOA Primary Option menu. The following information is included in this file:
Prerequisite conditions are user‑defined conditions set as either "in conditions" (using IN statements), or "out conditions" (using OUT and/or DO COND statements), in job, rule, and mission definitions
When a condition is defined as an "out condition", it is set in the IOA Conditions file during or following the processing of the job, rule, and mission.
When a condition is specified as an "in condition", the condition must exist in the IOA Conditions file before the job, rule, and mission can be processed.
Prerequisite conditions can be used to make the execution of one job, rule and mission dependent on the execution of another. For example, a job with a particular "in condition" cannot be submitted until a job with the same condition specified as an "out condition" was executed and set the condition.
Prerequisite conditions can also be used to indicate that a required manual operation has been performed.
