Contains messages generated by INCONTROL products. Messages can be viewed using option 5 in the IOA Primary Option menu. The IOA Log file is cyclic. The maximum number of messages that can be stored in (specified in an installation parameter. Each new entry in the IOA Log file overwrites the oldest existing entry if required.

The IOA Log file can be indexed by the Control-M ORDER ID of the job. The corresponding Index file should be a separate file. The use of the Index file is optional, and can be activated or deactivated dynamically by the IOA administrator. For more information, see IOA Log Index.
