Enterprise-wide View

Although the GSM and the LSMs run on different Sysplex images, IOA screens provides a view of the entire enterprise, regardless of the system used to log onto the Sysplex. This cross-CPU viewing capability allows users to make all definitions (jobs, resources, and so on) in the same user interface and store them in a common database, regardless of the system on which the definitions actually take effect. Users are also given the power to track and control multiple systems and applications, regardless of the image on which the tasks are executed. A Control‑M user, for instance, can track and control production across the entire Sysplex by logging on from any system in the Sysplex, regardless of whether the Control‑M monitor is active on that system.
