Control‑M uses the SYSOUT of jobs to perform post-processing. It does not use SMF exits. To release the system resources they use, remove any unneeded or unused SMF exits from the operating system. This is particularly important if you have migrated to Control‑M from a scheduling product that uses SMF exits to perform such post-processing tasks as analysis of the return codes of a step or job.
