The IOALIDS table of prefixes, owners, and identification strings is the main source upon which functioning of the IDL facility is based, in order to identify the running code. IOALIDS is provided as a load module that cannot be customized by a user.

The table has the following parts:

• Prefixes of the INCONTROL code
• Owners of CSECTs
• Identification strings
