Implementing size increases when space was overallocated

However, if the disk space and coupling facility space were overallocated, it is not always necessary to re-allocate them. In such cases, it is enough to issue an F CONTROLO,LOADGLOBAL=xxxxx command in one computer, if the database is a XAE Type 2 database, or in all computers, if the database is Type 1, where xxxxx is the name of the database whose NUMBER OF ROWS has changed.

Note: Updating a database using LOADGLOBAL is hazardous in a live system! For a detailed discussion, see Updating Contents of a Database in Memory.
