Stopping the MAINVIEW Interface

The STOPMVI command instructs a Control‑O subsystem to deactivate the MAINVIEW interface. This includes removing the registration of the current subsystem from the MAINVIEW interface, and possibly removing the MAINVIEW interface from common storage, if no other subsystems are using it. When issuing the STOPMVI command for a subsystem that is not registered with the MAINVIEW interface, the following message is displayed:

MTO84HW SUBSYSTEM NOT REMOVED FROM MAINVIEW

        INTERFACE: SUBSYSTEM NOT FOUND

When issuing the STOPMVI command when no MAINVIEW interface is present, the following message is displayed:

MTO84GW MAINVIEW INTERFACE MODULE NOT INSTALLED
