The STARTMVI command instructs a Control‑O subsystem to restart the MAINVIEW interface. This includes a possible initialization of the interface, if it has not yet been initialized by another subsystem or registration of the current subsystem in the MAINVIEW interface. If the STARTMVI command is issued for a subsystem that is already registered with the MAINVIEW interface, the following message is displayed:
