Controlling MAINVIEW Alarm Support (ON MVALARM Rules)

The AutoOPERATOR interface is shared among all Control-O installations in a site, whether or not the Control-O version is 6.2 or later. The first Control-O subsystem to initialize among all Control-O installations loads the AutoOPERATOR interface module into common storage, which is later used by all other Control-O subsystems. Upon startup, each subsystem registers itself with the AutoOPERATOR interface. This registration mechanism enables the AutoOPERATOR interface to recognize all available Control-O subsystems and to call them when the AutoOPERATOR interface is driven.

When a Control-O subsystem shuts down, it removes itself from the MAINVIEW interface. The last Control-O subsystem to shut down completely removes the AutoOPERATOR interface from common storage.
