Deactivating the Current Copy of CTOAODT

To deactivate the current CTOAODT copy in all IOA environments on the system, do the following:

1. Stop Unix for z/OS (OpenEdition) support by issuing the following operator command for the Control‑O Monitor of every IOA environment on the system:

   F monitor,STOPOE

2. Alternatively, stop the appropriate monitor.
3. Wait for either of the following messages to appear:

   CME792I OPENEDITION INTERFACE MODULE REMOVED

   CTO792I OPENEDITION INTERFACE MODULE REMOVED

After the CME7921 message or the CTO7921 message has been displayed, Unix for OS/390 (OpenEdition) has been stopped, and the new copy of CTOADT can be loaded.
