The figure below shows an example SNMP trap message taken by a sniffer trace. In this example:
1.3.6.1.4.1 - The IANA-registered Private Enterprise
954 - The vendor (BMC)
512 - Application (Control‑M or Control‑O)
3 - Regular
2 - Urgent
1 - Very Urgent
Control-O - The Application name (either Control‑M or Control‑O)
061TROLO - The Monitor name
CICSPROD ENDED S878 U000 RC08 - The message text itself as it is coded in the MESSAGE field of the DO SNMP panel.
