The IOA Online monitor interacts with different environments (for example, CICS) to provide an online interface for the various IOA applications. The IOA Online monitor generates the INCONTROL product screens, which are available to users signed on to the monitor, and handles all IOA online functions.
Each IOA Online monitor usually operates 24 hours a day as a started task. The IOA Online monitor is usually activated automatically as part of the IPL process.
