Missions are used by Control‑D and Control‑V to determine actions to be performed on job output. When a mission’s scheduling criteria are met, the actions indicated by the statements in the mission definition are performed.

Missions are used by Control‑M/Analyzer to define scheduling criteria to be applied to Control‑M/Analyzer rules that indicate actions to be performed.
