This step prepares you for submission of a Fallback job, to restore a cloned environment from the backup package created during Step 2 – Extract and apply the maintenance package. The list of all datasets that were backed up and will be restored can be found in ilprefa.INSTWORK(IOACDBKL).

1. Review the considerations listed on the screen and ensure that the following requirements are met.
   • All INCONTROL address spaces are down
   • The value of the backup package name (the BKPKGDSN parameter) in the job is from the Date to which you would like to restore your environment.

     Default value: last backup dataset name.

   Note: To find all backups created for the different dates, look in the IOA ICELOG dataset for the message: "Backup package resides at: "

2. Press PF3 to continue.

   Note: We recommend creating another backup of the IOA environment before performing Fallback. The DFDSS input string for the backup can be found in ilprefa.INSTWORK(IOACDBKP).
