Monitoring a job in Active Jobs

You can display data about a job that is currently running in the Monitoring pane in Active Jobs in Control-M. For more information, see: Monitoring in Using Control-M.

To change the priority status of an Oracle E-Business Suite job in Active Jobs the status of the job must be set to Hold in Control-M and cannot be Running or Completed in Oracle E-Business Suite.

To monitor a job in active jobs:

1. From the Monitoring pane, double click All Active Jobs and then double click the running job to be monitored.

   The Job: <Job Name> dialog box appears.

2. In the Monitor Request Properties field, do one or more of the following:
   • To change the priority of a running job, specify the desired priority by clicking Set Priority.
   • To change the status of a running job, click Hold.
   • To release the job, click Unhold.

3. If you want to view the output in a defined format, click View Output.

   NOTE: When clicking View Output you can open non textual output reports such as PDF, XLS, and TXT.
