The monitoring rule file is used as an input file for the Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite Monitoring command. The rule file contains the following information:
The ctmextract command utility searches for any Oracle E-Business Suite request or request set that matches the search criteria defined in the Monitoring rule file CONDITION section. For each match, it creates an equivalent mirror-image Control-M job according to the information available in the CTMCREATE section. The monitoring rule file is built from two main sections:
NOTE: In the CTMCREATE section, you can define any parameter accepted by the Control-M ctmcreate utility. For more information about ctmcreate parameters, see Control-M Utilities.
NOTE: To create a Control-M mirror-image job with values retrieved from the equivalent monitored Oracle E-Business Suite job, set the values in the CTMCREATE section to the required CONDITION search criteria using the following format:
