Interception rule file

The interception rule file is used as an input file for the Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite Interception command. The rule file contains the following information:

• The type of Oracle E-Business Suite requests or request sets to intercept (CONDITIONS section).
• How to create an equivalent mirror-image Control-M job, if matching Oracle E-Business Suite requests or request sets are found (CTMCREATE section).

The agintercept command utility searches for any Oracle E-Business Suite request or request set that matches the search criteria defined in the interception rule file CONDITION section. For each match, it creates an equivalent mirror-image Control-M job according to the information available in the CTMCREATE section. The interception rule file is built from two main sections:

• CONDITIONS section - built from one or more [CONDITION<n>] segments. In each [CONDITION<n>] segment, you can define search criteria for the Oracle E-Business Suite concurrent request or request set that you want to intercept. For more information, see: Conditions Section creation.
• CTMCREATE section - contains information on how to create a mirror-image Control-M job/s. The information inside the CTMCREATE section is built from couples of parameters and values separated by a blank. For more information about CTMCTREATE section parameters, see ctmcreate/ctmdefine mandatory parameters.

  In the CTMCREATE section, you can define any parameter accepted by the Control-M ctmcreate utility. For more information about ctmcreate parameters, see Control-M Utilities.
