Creating a connection profile

This procedure describes how to create an OEBS connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, which enables you to define an OEBS job in Control-M.

To create a connection profile:

  1. From Control-M Configuration Manager, select Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite on the host that you want to manage, right-click and select Connection Profile Management.

The CM for Oracle E-Business Suite -Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

  2. Click Add.

The Add Connection Profile - Set Connection Details dialog box appears.

  3. In the Connection Profile Name field, type the name of the connection profile that you want to add.

The connection profile name must begin with a letter and without any blanks or special characters.

  4. For each field, type the required value, as described in Control-M for Oracle E-Business Suite connection profile parameters.
  5. Click Next.

The Add Connection Profile - Default Control-M Options dialog box appears.

  6. Complete the Control-M Job Output handling parameters, as described in Default Control-M Job Options parameters.

  9. Click Finish.

The connection profile is added to the CM for Oracle E-Business Suite -Connection Profile Management dialog box.
