Testing a Control-M for Java connection profile

This procedure describes how to test a Control-M for Java connection profile in the CCM to validate the connection parameters.

To test a Control-M for Java connection profile:

1. From the CCM, select Control-M for Java, right click and select Java Connection Profile Management.

   The Control-M for Java Connection Profile Management dialog box appears.

2. Select the connection profile that you want to test, and click .

   If the test completes successfully, the connection profile validates and you can now define a Java job, as described in Defining a Control-M for Java job. If the test fails, review the error message(s), fix any problems as necessary, and test it again.
