Configuring the output for a Web Service Response

If you are adding a runtime parameter and the Web Service response contains special characters, you need to configure the output to allow special characters. The following procedure describes how to configure the output.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have created an Output Handling rule, as described in Output Handling rules.

To configure the output to allow special characters:

1. Open any text editor.
2. Type the following:

   decode.ws.response=false

3. Save the file as aicm.properties in the following directory:

   <Control-M Agent home>\CM\AP\data\AI
