Adding a Runtime parameter

This procedure describes how to add a Runtime parameter in the Designer Area. When adding a Runtime parameter it appears in the Monitoring domain in Control-M and Control-M Self Service.

Before you begin

Ensure that you have created an Output Handling rule, as described in Output Handling rules.

To add a Runtime parameter:

1. In the Runtime Parameters View field, click .

   The Add runtime parameter window appears.

2. In the Runtime Parameter field, from the drop-down list select the runtime parameter from the generated list.
3. In the Display name field, type the name of the parameter that you want to appear.
4. Click OK.
