Deploying the job type

This procedure describes how to deploy your job type to Control-M/Agent and any client. When trying to publish a warning message may appear. You can either cancel publishing and fix the problem or continue publishing. If an error message appears you cannot publish and you need to fix the error.

To deploy your job type:

1. From the toolbar, click Deploy.
2. If there are warnings, the Job Type Validation window appears and click Yes to continue.

   NOTE: If you click No, publishing is canceled and you can fix the problem.

   The Deploy job type -<application name> window appears.

3. Select the Agent Name.
4. Click Deploy.

   The deployment results appear.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions for post deployment steps. You need to configure Control-M, as described in Control-M configuration.
