Redeploying the job type

This procedure describes how to redeploy your job type.

To redeploy your job type:

1. From the toolbar, click Deploy.
2. If there are warnings, the Job Type Validation window appears and click Yes to continue.

   NOTE: If you click No, publishing is canceled and you can fix the problem.

   The Deploy job type -<application name> window appears.

3. Select the Agent Name.
4. Click Deploy.

   If you have previously deployed the job type and have added new fields, the Redeploy job type window appears.

5. (New field only)To decide how to treat existing jobs for this job type, in the Action area, from the dropdown list, select one of the following:
   • Do Nothing: Sets the value that was defined in the job type.
   • Assign a value: Sets a default for the new field.
   • Assign a value from a deleted parameter: If you have deleted a parameter, you can select a value from the dropdown list.
6. Click Continue.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions for post deployment steps. You need to configure Control-M, as described in Control-M configuration.
