Name

(Mandatory) Defines the name that appears in the job palette in the Planning domain in Control-M and the Connection Profile name in the Control-M Configuration Manager.

Icon

Enables you to select an icon from the drop-down list for your job type. When deployed, the icon appears as a job type icon in the job palette in the Planning domain.

Plug-in ID

(Internal) Defines the internal name used for identifying the job type in Control-M.

NOTE: After you have defined a Name, the Plug-in ID is generated. You can change the Plug-in ID.

Uppercase only. Up 10 characters (spaces are not allowed).

Description

(Optional) Free text field. Appears as a job type tool tip in the job palette in the Planning domain.

Application support team

(Optional) Defines the name of the team in the organization responsible for the job type.

NOTE: If there is a problem executing these jobs, this information appears in the job execution log. For more information about the job execution log, see Execution log.

Application team email

(Optional) Defines the email of the team in the organization responsible for the job type.

Default Interface type

Defines the default interface of any operation that is added. You can change it a later stage.
