Defining a Control-M for SAP Business Objects job

This procedure describes how to define a Control-M for SAP Business Objects job, which enables you to run SAP Business Objects jobs and reports on an SAP Business Objects server.

Before You Begin

Ensure that you have met the following requirements:

To define a Control-M for SAP Business Objects job:

  1. From the Connection Profile field, click Browse_new.

    The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.

  2. Select the connection profile that you want to use to run a SAP Business Objects job or report, and click OK.

    The System and User fields are populated.

  3. From the Report Name field, click Browse_new.
  4. Select the report that you want to run.
  5. The Report CUID and Report type fields are populated. If there are any parameters associated with this report, they appear, as well as, the Instance title and Report owner.
  6. For each parameter, type a value, as described in Parameter types.

    You are not able to set values for Publication type report parameters.

    The multiple values separator symbol is a semicolon (;). For example, 123;456 or abc;xyz. A minimum value and maximum value of a range is separated by a pipe symbol (|). For example, Date(2006,06,01)|Date(2006,06,30) or 1.99|10.99.

  7. In the Instance attributes area, do the following:

    If you are generating a Publication report, you cannot override the output format.

  8. In the Output destinations field, accept the default, or click Browse_newand select one of the following report distribution options:
