Before you can define a Control-M for SAP Business Objects job in Control-M Workload Automation, you need to create a connection profile in the Control-M Configuration Manager, which enables you to connect to the required SAP Business Objects server.
A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified SAP Business Objects server, such as host name, port, user name, and password. By adding a connection profile to the Control-M Configuration Manager, you enable Control-M for SAP Business Objects users to connect to the required SAP Business Objects server with only the connection profile name.
Users then can run a job without having to provide authentication details every time they connect to the SAP Business Objects server.
The following procedures describe how to create, edit, delete, test, copy, and export a connection profile in the CCM.
