Testing a connection profile

This procedure describes how to test a connection profile in silent mode, to confirm that you are able to connect to the required FTP servers.

NOTE: To run the ctmaftacc utility on Winodws, you need to open the command line as an administrator.

NOTE: When you run a Control-M OS job that tests a connection profile, you need to use the -batch parameter

To test a connection profile:

1. Do one of the following:
   1. To test a single connection profile, type the following:

      ctmaftacc [-agent agent_name] -validate -account account_name

   2. To test all connection profiles, type the following:

      ctmaftacc [-agent agent_name] -validate -account

2. Apply the required values for each parameter, as described in Silent mode parameters.
