Silent mode connection profile management

Before you can define an AFT job in Control-M, you need to create a connection profile, which enables you to connect to the required server to transfer files.

A connection profile contains the connection parameters to a specified server(s), such as host name, port, communication protocols, username, and password. By creating a connection profile, you enable users to connect to the required server with only the connection profile name. Users then can define or modify a job without having to provide authentication and connection attribute details every time they connect to a server.
