Defining an SAP R3 job
This procedure describes how to define an SAP R3 job.
Before You Begin
Ensure that you have met the following requirements:
To define an Control-M for SAP job:
From the Connection Profile field, click .The Connection Profile Selection dialog box appears.
Select the connection profile that you want to use to run an SAP R3 job, and click OK . From the Action drop-down list, select one of the following:Create a new job : Enables you to schedule a new SAP job in Control-M.Copy an existing job : Enables you to schedule a copy of an SAP job in Control-M for multiple runs of identical jobs.Run a pre-defined SAP job : Enables you to schedule an SAP job in Control-M.Monitor a scheduled SAP job : Enables you to schedule an SAP job in Control-M to monitor a job that is currently in SAP.Run batch input sessions: Enables you to schedule a pre-defined SAP batch input sessions in Control-M. For each field type the required value, as described in SAP R3 parameters . When you select the job mode, Create , do one or more of the following: To add a new job step click .The Add Step dialog box appears.
From the Program Type drop-down list, select one of the following job step types:
